Sappada. Parting the fog the end of our tour days Plodn (Sappada) unfortunately the weather had deteriorated. After three sunny days the mountains were shrouded in fog on Sunday. Nevertheless, we started as planned in the first early morning bus back a little, towards Passo order to turn right after Santo Stefano in a small valley. We went wrong with the tour, the first along a forest road to Malga Melin and then up a small gap, now more completely concealed by the fog up to the goal of Cima Vallona or Wildkarleck, a hilltop west of the Porzescharte.
hm 1150 were nearly there, but unfortunately this time no gabs summit panorama only cotton wool all around. Amazing how our tour guide has been based to this soup fog. The departure turned out to be not difficult, just a bit rough if the ribbed hard snow.
Soon after lunch we were back at the cars and started on "zfridn" back home. Quickly they have passed our fantastic days at the German neighbors behind the Kreuzberg Pass.
