almost a tradition, our weekend tour, always mid-January, with friends near and far.
This year we decided to Villgraten, a small inn, "s'Badl", in Limestone had room for us. The first has already arrived Friday night. Because I was there
flu was still present, then a 7-member group on Saturday from Badl on the way to limestone and on to South Tyrolean border. The snow should be only partially fit for skiing pleasure according to the forecast, because the winter temperatures than this weekend everything else should. But Villgraten is a cold hole and so the conditions were better than expected. After about 3 hours without much effort, the first peak was reached: the 2600 m high Gaishörndl. After a short descent to a yoke, decided near the Corno di Fana (2660m) was to climb too. A magnificent view to the Dolomites in the south and the Central Alps in the north of fresh wind and not too mild temperatures expected the group up there. The descent proved to be easy, even without powder Pass. Finally
gabs a good beer in limestone and relax in the sauna from Badl, where, incidentally, is not cooked well.
because everything fits! |
