I always wanted Merbjoch again. A popular hike in Prettau, shadowing each other, but that is why there are usually good snow conditions .. Everything you need for a great day were given, and so we met in a good mood in the morning at the municipal parking lot in Prettau. After a coffee we went off. The climb starts just
steep, past the Falkensteinerhof, on through a larch forest to the Merbalm. Thereafter, in open country skiing right on. A beautifully laid track made the ascent is not too strenuous, but unfortunately the weather deteriorated and the situation we did not have Gipflerlebnis much. The light was diffuse and so the descent was not easy then, because you had a bad run. Our spirits could not harm but we had a fun day!
