1 weeks lazing in Egypt

The last weeks have been a number of reasons rather strenuous and nerve-wracking, so that we my better half has one weeks prescribed sunbathing and doing nothing at sea. The perfect destination he delivered the same with: Red Sea, Egypt.

I wanted a resort that nice, easy going, quiet, relaxing should be above all. It also had to have wireless in the room and offer a house reef for snorkeling.

After some research on the Internet and a lengthy phone conversation with a friend tried to Egypt we chose the Radisson SAS Resort El Quseir . There used to 5 before flight 's the short term along with a Air Berlin flight and the appropriate transfers.

We have a week were gone (8 nights) and had a room with sea view. This provides one in particular from the balcony - pretty relaxing! can

Next time I would book only breakfast, there are snacks at the pool, room service, two specialty restaurants, BBQ on the beach, etc. In addition you - if you have an appetite for breakfast - take advantage of this course (100 LE). More information about the hotel can be found here .

My conclusion: For best destination!

The short, offered by many cities and cheapest flights easily and quickly accessible, ideal to relax and refuel sun. I also liked the high salinity of the Red Sea. So I think that this is also in winter (note the wind!) a great destination for a trip is spontaneous.

My checklist for a snorkeling trip to the Red Sea:
  • thought less clothes than, especially little socks
  • for day light dresses that can pull quickly on the bikini over it
  • for the evening something nice (as little as possible detail)
  • remedy tar spots (or better yet the like butter use in the restaurant)
  • snorkel equipment prior to departure by seeing
  • slippers for quiet days, fins for windier
  • thin T-shirts for snorkeling (for sunburn on the back)
  • diving medical certificate from the doctor, if you dip it. ..
  • hat
Almost anything can be bought locally, such as slippers or facemasks.
