Wedding Dress Jenna Haze

Stockholm in the spring

I am fortunate to be able to professionally from time to time in this beautiful city. rarely have time to stroll or to visit. With the outbreak of the Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajökull this time I was a few days longer than planned in Stockholm.

Thus, besides the organization of my journey was a little time to walk in sunny weather and sightseeing:

14/04/2010 17/04/2010 Hall

No Vivitar Camera Binoculars Cd

return journey by land

I had on Friday in addition to various air tickets and a bus ticket from Stockholm to Berlin purchased - just in case ... ;-)

The booking is simple via the Internet.

Not then I really thought that I would take advantage of this, but there was on Sunday predicted that it still take a few days would fly before I could (a colleague drove on Wednesday thereafter train, ferry and car to Germany) on Tuesday and I had a meeting, so I took the bus.

On Saturday I had already bought a loose, comfortable pants and clean clothes, so that it could begin.

departure was on Sunday evening at 22:45 clock. Huge number of people, sometimes quite hectic and annoying waiting at the bus station. The organization worked quite good.

It drove some night buses to Copenhagen, where we had to change. Swebus probably had chartered buses from the area, drove it a lot of buses going almost simultaneously. Neither our bus driver nor the attendant spoke English - this shows us that they were using all resources to the stranded to bring to the mainland.

The bus was a good coach with seats that could be put to the back and a toilet. The night I tried to sleep - it went on for hours on Swedish roads, we did not see much. Beside me sat a very small chance for young student to a circus school, so it was not too closely. :-)

Since the bus almost without pause (no one wanted to get out in Malmö, there was only a short bathroom break at a rest stop) went through, we were after a quiet trip - the beautiful sunrise over the Oresund bridge ! - Even shortly before 6 clock in Copenhagen. The plan was 8 clock.

addition to the bus station There is a public building where toilets were also clean, so you could make something fresh. To enter you need a code that a nice employee there told to demand you.

Here's a look at some stranded travelers in Copenhagen - on the way from the bus to other buses or the train station to drive to the railway.

The organization was not entirely clear, but because on my ticket was that the next bus would leave on the same site and much time was I did not let other passengers get crazy and have only once to the central station marches (which is around the corner) because I have a Coffee needed.

Even there we saw some stranded and overcrowded trains running to the south. I was glad I did not have standing in the ICE, but was able to travel more convenient.

in Copenhagen was otherwise normal life - a Monday morning as many, with cyclists, who drove to work. In light of the Tivoli amusement park which is close to the train station - so early in the morning died out properly.

I made a little walk to me to represent the legs, which was after the long bus ride somehow necessary.

The concourse I did quite well.

was too busy here Activity.

I have a coffee and one of my beloved Danish pastries were brought and enjoyed my breakfast.

Then I went to the next bus (a German this time) through the beautiful streets known to Denmark to Gedser.

where the bus hit a ferry that brought us to Rostock.

The boat trip I really liked it. While it was pretty cool, but I had my winter coat and was always tired.

The ship is also plenty of variety, so that the time may sell well: there is a restaurant, a cafeteria, a duty-free shop, a supermarket and plenty of space to sit and relax - inside and out. The trip takes 1:45 hours.

I have made some business calls (until the power was gone ...) and then tried to enjoy the voyage.

Even though I really was not hungry, a Danish Pølser typical with the sweet mustard and bread had to be. :-)

Here one can see that the sun was shining. While it was cool and windy, but pleasant sunny.

The entrance to Rostock is also very interesting; (? Rentals senior housing facilities normal private flats for rent) you can see the German Baltic coast, a lighthouse, and a lot of new houses lining the harbor entrance.

lot of walkers were on their way, marching along at noon on the coast. We then had to back down from the back deck of the bus.

Then it was relatively uneventful on German motorways from Rostock to the bus station in Berlin.

Here's a look at the central bus station in Berlin.

Some Beached from any corner of Europe met there and continued their journey. Who long bus trips may have, by the way, here the various possibilities to come too far for little money and explore interesting destinations.

From there, I'm using the S-Bahn station to Berlin and from there south cross the ICE to Nuremberg. The train ticket I had already booked a precaution on Friday with seat reservation. The train arrived with little delay, but was not booked. So I had to normality again.

between I have sent even more information in my account on facebook or on twitter (# ashtag), it was quite funny to stay that way too in touch with others and mitzukriegen who just hung out firmly.

Here we see one that I was pretty tired on the train ride ...

Then a short ride on the subway to Nuremberg airport, so there was my car. ;-)

After nearly 25 hours I was then at home around midnight. It must not be accessible by air - by land and sea you go too. ;-)

How To Extend An Ohio Drivers License

globes and Skansen

the bright sunshine, had used and I am the new lift on the hull of the globes ramped from there to enjoy a view of Stockholm.

Since the beginning of this year, Stockholm is in fact enriched by this attraction.

SkyView is the name of two glass pods, which you can boot to the outer skin of the event hall Ericsson Globe .

's largest spherical building in the world is itself worth a visit, but the ride up is already bombastic.

The views are okay, you see the old town of Stockholm from a distance and also has a beautiful view over the surrounding countryside, including the archipelago.

for 120 SEK you can buy a ticket. Here, too, should pre-book , not to have to stand blow. In addition, by the way, a shopping center, as usual in Sweden, is also open on Sundays. It is easy way out with the underground .

afternoon was another landmark turn:

Skansen is one of the most popular attractions in Stockholm. It is the oldest museum in Sweden and also a wonderful zoo, beautifully situated on the island Djurgården .

As the weather on Sunday was beautiful, I took a trip there. I went there by bus. Previously drove a tram, but it looked as if the tracks are currently being mined. To Djurgården to get way too well with the ship.

Unfortunately, the houses with workshops and demonstrations already completed by 16 clock. After that you can comfortably stroll around the park and enjoy the beautiful view of Stockholm.

So, better check opening times before the !

Skansen is often referred to historical as Sweden in miniature . Traditional crafts such as a glass blower, a baker, cobbler, etc., and folk traditions are presented to the visitors. 150

over farms and houses were gathered from all parts of the country and rebuilt. These young neighborhood with artisans and shops, gardens and estates, village greens and a wooden church.

addition, you can see here a typical Swedish animals that are found in the wild do not meet so often: moose, bears, wolves, lynx and reindeer. Sure, you can pet the moose also

was especially sweet, a little reindeer, which was probably still quite young. In reindeer antlers have the females - nudged the little one is here, namely his mother,

In summer, the zoo is open, Skansen is generally suitable for families.

also for the physical well-being is ensured, there are restaurants, cafes and snack stands.

Stockholm's City Hall

Stadhuset , Stockholm City Hall, is one of the landmarks of the Swedish capital.

The Swedish architect Ragnar Östberg who built it. 8 million bricks were used for this.

It is considered the most outstanding example of the Swedish National Romanticism in the transition to the Swedish classicism of the 1920s. was inspired

the architect of palaces of the Renaissance, so the two courtyards or plaza Borgargården Blå and warehouses. It was opened 1923rd

The City Council is always worth a visit. Outside there is a terrace with good views, next to worth taking a tour of the interiors: magnificient ballrooms are located in the interior, especially the blue building, and the golden hall is impressive. In them also the celebration place at the Nobel awards.

The 106 meter tall tower offers a good view of Stockholm, the national coat of arms adorns him with the three Swedish crowns .

you I find that many of Stockholm's use their lunch break to rest on the terrace and the park and enjoy the sun - like me. :-)

Can You Use Lemon Pledg

arrival, evening walk

Unfortunately there are no direct flights from Nuremberg to Scandinavia ... This time I had to change trains in Dusseldorf. Depending on the airline and times in Frankfurt, Berlin or Vienna ...

Here they flew anyway yet ... ;-)

If you have little time to get the express train to the city center to offer - in 20 minutes you are at the Arlanda Express from the Stockholm airport railway station. The tickets can be bought at the yellow machines on the platform. More tips can be found here .

This time I had a convenient hotel by the station.

The Comfort Hotel Stockholm on the World Trade Center is at Stockholm relationships okay, I had a small room (long as wide as the bed) with window. When I was a tourist here, I'd probably look for something else. The breakfast was good. Fortunately, there was no problem to stay after the cancellation of flights a few more nights. And as I said it's a prime central location - you can achieve very much on foot, or has the train station, buses and metro outside the front door. Wireless internet is available free of charge.

relaxing I find it The Kungsgatan, Drottninggatan then (ie the first king, then queen street) to go along, then across the bridge to the Reichstag and the next small bridge in the old town Gamla Stan . There is a bit touristy, but you can stroll and enjoy the beautiful water views and great city views. The castle is located there, and you have a beautiful views, including the town hall or Riddarholmen. Here are some impressions of the evening included about 18 clock.

view Riddarholmen:

Here you can see the town hall against the light:

And here is a view in the castle with a sunny sky:

view of the Skeppsholmen Af Chapman , where you can spend the night, she is a guest house :

The following photo is the view from castle about the Strömbron north. are in the background's Department Stores - if you enlarged (click on image) you can see the emblem on the roof of NK :

Central is Sergels Torg , a traffic hub in the business life; found in the vicinity many offices and shops. Striking is the glass obelisk :

little further north, the Stockholm Observatory is pretty on a hill in a park:
