Recipe For Bridal Shower Sayings

Egyptian cooking class

The hotel once a week at a cooking class. Clear that me was interested and I wanted to be there.

Registration is very simple with the reference to the room number, a maximum of 15 participants and 2.50 EUR per person would cost the whole. We were the only ones.

First we were led through the kitchen and storage areas. Interesting. All super hygienic and very well equipped: stainless steel, cold rooms, refrigerators, plenty of drinking water in use, all neatly packed, we had to wear bonnets. The typical vacation gastrointestinal disorders are brought out elsewhere, usually by heat or by flies, I think - at least not by eating from these kitchens.

saw for myself the whole not from hectic, but relaxed and as if the people there care a great deal with each other and with the food. I'm bad at remembering numbers, I think there are 30 people. A person is responsible only for hygiene.

I think it's not so great to photograph everything and then pictures of people who know nothing about it, to put it online. Therefore, only a photo of the vegetables. The zucchini were small and light green, which I noticed.

The food is both the wholesale market Cairo-based as well as delivered from the region. So you get freshly caught fish from Quseir, lamb and vegetables from local farmers. There is a program of the hotel, where they assist the residents of the region, including training courses.

After the tour we are in the Mediterranean cuisine in restaurants. There, everything was perfectly prepared for our cooking class, a term with three recipes and the ingredients for this:

First, we have prepared tahini, served with sesame paste was mixed with water and spices and set aside. I like it yes rather sharp, the Egyptians, so we have taken a little more chili. For the Tourists usually they taste milder.

of mixed minced meat was then cooked Kofta: Mixed beef and lamb is here, not like us in cattle and swine. Logical. Instead of the raw material to try, as I always do a test piece fried and seasoned. The Hack rolls were later eaten with tahini in a small pita bread.

Our favorite dessert was also on the plan: Om Ali . This croissant pieces are sprinkled with nuts, topped with hot sweetened milk and covered with cream. The cream is then flamed with a Bunsen burner . Delicious.

The cooking class was really fun and interesting. do the Sous Chef is here and has practiced mostly tourists who are watching more and can cook - I admit, more form than Kofta and croissants tear into bowls we have not nearly done. We have great understanding with the two cooks and also learned a lot about this country and its people and their view of things.

tasted And it has! :-)

Resort impressions

The Radisson SAS Resort El Quseir is probably about 5 years old and looks really really good. It seems somehow already relaxing, just watching. ;-)

It was built in Nubian style . Even after days, you always discover new details: different patterns in the wood patio, lights, various vaults, colors, matching trash can, etc.

was crucial to us that the plant is not too large, was clean and quiet. Almost half of the room was occupied, the guests were probably mainly from Germany, Russia, Italy and France.

There was fortunately little entertainment, other than a singing duo in the evening and once a week just belly dancing or watching movies on corals. The site houses a spa offering Ayurvedic treatments, a hairdresser / beauty salon, a tennis court, gym, billiards, etc. For the football games during the World Cup was a public viewing area set up. (Book most travelers probably all inclusive and all-in)

addition to the buffet restaurant has a Mediterranean and an oriental restaurant, pool bar, a bar called the Czar and an oriental café where you can smoke shisha.

The room was great, tasteful, high quality - perfect. The Internet was mostly, there was not really fast. The employees were gone by the bank friendly, courteous, helpful.

There is a pool area and an area where sea water in a swimming pool inviting, so.

The beach is elongated, with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas, sometimes sandy, sometimes rocky coral.

There is a bar that also houses the flag: Mostly it was yellow, the last three days in red.

To swim the sea from the beach are only suitable: We snorkeled above all and most would have liked a few more inches of water between the stomach and coral reef. What you see then, but really cool: A nice reef, colorful corals, many organisms, of the most colorful fish in sea urchins, moray eels, snails, sea cucumbers, etc.

Heftig I found some tourists who traipse without thinking of their flip-flops over the reef - it is everywhere pointed out that so much destroys .. . :-(

the last three days it was very windy, as one needed fins to control or I found the slippers better

Home Made Pontoon Rod Holders

flying visit Milan

Life is short - and I think we should try to do as much as possible and therefore I found it very happy, as in the local ! was offered Stadtillu for Whit Saturday, a shopping trip to Milan.

by bus late at night going on the day in Milan and back in the evening. Quickly a friend who is kind whatsoever have been mailed, registered - and off we went.

somehow drove the bus other than I would have done: When I looked out in the morning and expected to be close to Milan, we drove straight through the downtown Zurich. Then I went through a beautiful, mist-shrouded in a bit early Swiss mountains in the Pentecostal jam the Gotthard tunnel . Then we drove along Lake Lugano to Como to Milan.

planned was to be early at 8 clock in Milan and I had got hold of two tickets for 9 clock for Leonardo da Vinci's Last Supper in the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. When we finally arrived after 13 clock on the square in front of La Scala, it was too late for this course. But no matter, we are flexible. Added to this was: The weather was fantastic - sunny, warm, perfect. :-)

So we walked a little and only once have looked. We bought a drink and then we sat down comfortably outdoors and a little further away from the cathedral to have a snack.

I was 10 years ago for a day in Milan, at that time was a holiday (15th August) and we had the town almost to ourselves. This time the opposite is true: Tourists, Milan, on Saturday afternoon shoppende northern Italy and of course a mass of football fans made sure that the town was really crowded.

the evening was the final of the Champions League, Inter Milan played in Madrid, but Milan were tons of fans traveled to see the game and celebrate. At the cathedral a huge screen was set up - Public Viewing in Italy. Already at noon, fans booked on the Piazza del Duomo, the best seats and provided with horns include appropriate for a noise level.

A absolute must and always super is to visit the cathedral (including the crypt and the treasures I found interesting) as well as highlight an inspection of the roof.

You can walk (not too many levels is, fast) or by lift high. Stairs cost 5 EUR, Lift 8th

The view is simply bombastic, one sees the city of Milan and, depending on the weather far afield.

The details on the Domdach worth a good look, you see ornaments, statues and the golden Madonnina on the top of the cathedral.

I could finally see little tired and would have to spend hours on the roof of the cathedral.

We were there a long time - you can sit in between times and why, and it was sunny, too.

Nevertheless, it was time to go further and see more of Milan.

We strolled through some streets. I liked the Via della Spiga, which is next to some other adjacent streets, the square of fashion. All well-known designers in Milan's fashion district their shops. If you have time and money here find everything your heart desires. Interestingly, there

was also a grocery store that sold dried including giant mushrooms, fresh pasta and cheese.

little further north, found a park that invites you to relax.

The Indro Montanelli Public Gardens was crowded on Saturday difficult: families, children playing, couples kissing, newspaper reading older, walkers with and without a dog - and tired tourists. ;-)

Then I went with a short stop in a bookstore in the direction of Castello Sforzesco. On the way there's still some ice cream - delicious.

The Castello Sforzesco is large and fascinating. For the museums it was already too late, but time enough just to gain a first impression of the system.

A few of the towers reminded me somehow of Nuremberg ...

After a leisurely dinner out with beautiful summer weather, we are in the direction of Piazza della Scala, was supposed to leave from where our bus at midnight.

We had no direct view of the screens, but by the bawling and celebrations of the fans we got some measure of how it was straight. The photo left here worth Click the plan: We see in the background a piece of the game, massive fans, smoke, amidst a great backdrop.

As Inter had won then, of course, it was even louder, the typical car-Corso began.

It is almost a miracle that our buses were almost there on time and could pave the midst of the celebrating fans the way out of town.

About the San Bernardino it was back then, we were in after 12 hours of driving on Pentecost Sunday noon Kronach.

Conclusion: Over 14 hours one way by bus instead of 7 with the car is already borderline. Advantage of the bus next to the low price of 49.99 EUR is that you can have a drink (With red wine inside them to sleep on the bus much better!) And can not sleep. By car, I should have a night hung it - or the same made a two-week Northern Italy tour - and then take the time not so spontaneous. So that's okay. :-)

tips for Milan in a day:
  • visit the Cathedral and, above all walking around on the roof, statues and enjoy the view
  • may visit the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci (book tickets in advance)
  • visit one to two museums, such as La Scala Castello Sforzesco Museum

  • strolling and shopping :-)
General: Milan you can "Walk" prima - The distance of the sights in the city are not great. There is also a well-developed mass transit system in Metro, trams and buses, and bicycles for rent.
